Foundation Level

Heading onto university is a dynamic experience for students. Our specialists help students studying Foundation Level Economics and Maths to strengthen the skills required to face challenges at university. The key is to pinpoint areas of weaknesses that can be improved. We tailor specific courses where needed in order to prepare international students for entry onto the first year of their chosen degree course whileusing effective teaching and assessment methods, taking into account students' interests as well as their language and cultural backgrounds.

Building confidence in students is an essential aspect for tutors teaching at foundation level, as we believe students need to learn how to survive competition in order to secure a place at top universities. Our tutors make appropriate use of a wide range of monitoring and assessment approaches to measure students' progress towards planned learning goals while providing constructive feedback.

While promoting active and independent learning, we also mentor students facing difficulties in terms of selecting modules and achieving grades for the universities they aspire to join.

Our tutors teach Economics, Mathematics and Statistics to students at London School of Economics, Regent's College London, City University London, Royal Holloway, University of Westminster, University of Southampton, Durham University, University of Bristol, University of Warwick, University of Manchester and King's College London.

I am interested in passing on the appetite for inquiry and understanding that makes truly outstanding students. I endeavour to pass on a way of thinking abstractly, mathematically, and rigorously that comes with guidance and focused practice. More than anything else, my aim is to create enthusiasm. If a student is enthusiastic they will propel themselves to ever higher levels of proficiency, in whatever they choose to do.
